The yellow hutch would make a nice touch in your kitchen or breakfast room. We decorated it with our blue and white collections but you know how well yellow goes with red, green or any other color. Also notice the navy luggage and cute little bench. Oh so many cute things.

Hi I'm Zoe

My Mom is one of the Shack girls and she just
wanted me to let you know that she will be taking
more pictures of the new look in the Shack. She has
been busy and needs to make more time for this
blog. I will try to get her to take some pictures of me
in there. I have gone a couple of times and have
really enjoyed meeting all the kind shoppers. I'm
sure when I am not with her she brags about me.
I have 3 children from my 2 liters. My son, Hogan,
and daughter, Maggie are from my first liter 3 years
in April. My other daughter,Lilly ( or Scooter which
she is sometimes called) is from my second liter. Yes
there are 4 of us cute things in the house. So please
be patient with her and continue to visit the Shack
Out Back blog.

Victorian Oh Yes!!!

This area looks so inviting you just want to sit down with a cup of tea. The secretary under the window is a perfect touch to any room. If you notice in all the pictures we have lamps galore. We also have some very nice linens and pillows. Our shack may be small but as you see by the pictures we sure can fit alot of wonderful finds in the place.

We also have an area in the back that has wonderful yard art and fun stuff for gardening.

Every corner has a color.

Every corner does have a color at The Shack Out Back. Now you see we have lots of the

pinks and green for that shabby chic in you. There is also so yellow with a dash of orange to brighten up any room. There are so many goodies in this little shack you may just keep coming back for more. With 3 Shack Girls in this place you never know what is coming in next.

Turquiose what a beautiful color!

This is such a refreshing color. It makes you want to go paint a room in you home. We have bowls, plates, platters, teapots, napkin and even a robe. This is a must see.

A Lovely Pink and Green down filled Loveseat

This beautiful loveseat is looking for just the right home. The colors are a beautiful pink and green. The cushion is filled with down and is very comfy to sit in. this piece would be so nice in a bedroom or even in your special livingroom.

Changes have been made already!

Purple is a favorite color of many. If you know Whimsy thats hers. She loves it so much
most of the inside of her home is purple. When you come to the Shack this is what you will see
when you first walk in. Doesn't it make you smile!!!

Changes have been made only after 3 weeks in business.

You need to come visit us now. For 2 whole days the Shack Girls have been busy redoing
our Little Shack. Its has more goodies now and a whole new look. You must come visit.

Whimsy's and three of her fur babies! Zoe, Hogan, Baby Lily and Maggie.

Hi,I'm glad to be a part of The Shack Out Back with two wonderful friends. We are all hard workers and talented in different ways. This makes a great combination to our new adventure. I have been with Vintage Village since the beginning and have loved every minute of it. Have met great friends along the way. I used to be a hair dresser before my two beautiful girls were born. My oldest daughter is now 21, and the younger one is 17. They are the love of my life along with my husband Wes of 23 years. I will have pictures of them later. The other bright spot in my life are my 4 Shih Tzu's Zoe, Hogan, Maggie, and Lilly. Yes, I am crazy but I enjoy them so much.
My booth in Vintage Village has Shabby Chic, Altered Art, Painted windows (that I paint), hand made items that are seasonal, and collectables. My collections at home go on and on. White pottery,bark cloth, glass bottles in purple, green and clear, Glass covered candy dishes and crystal candleholders, I love purple!!!(everyone who knows me knows that,white dog planters, OMG the list goes on.
My favorite things to do besides going to junk/thrift/antique shops is being with my family In the summer we go to the beach with the ShihTuz, love to be with my Mom (she and I always have fun together. I love to paint, sew, crafts and of course shop till I drop. Wes and I have great card games on the front porch during the summer with our cocktails. I also love to work in the yard and garden. Sounds like I have a full life!!!! I do and I Thank God everyday for it.
So thats me and my life.

The Shack Pack goes Shopping...

This was our first Shack Pack shopping trip...

We went to Lakewood with One Vintage Hag, Susan and Karen. It was a first time visit for me and Ella and we just loved it!

What a TREAT...we had the pleasure of meeting Mary Kay Andrews and having our books signed and buying new books and tshirts. Whimsy and I have read and love her books but Ella had not. Last I saw of her she was on her way home to begin...have not heard from her in a while so she must be on a reading marathon.

Hey you guys...would'nt it be great if we had a Shack Shuttle?
I'm a great packer but just could not figure how to get this baby in my truck. We did find other neat treasures and are chomping at hte bit to dsiplay them in the Shack.
